We have been having so much fun lately collaborating with local artist. Jessica Pierce, a local pattern company owner, and I recently collaborated to gather images for some of her designs. You can learn a little more about her and her work below.
5 out of 4 Patterns is a dream in the making. The start of this company was a huge shift from her previous career where she worked on space satellites for the government. It all started when her and her husband went for four children and had twins and then had another little blessing arrive just over a year ago. ? For the first year of the twins’ life, Jessica turned to sewing as an opportunity to have quiet time. She had been sewing for a long time prior to that, but during that first year, she used sewing as a time of prayer, meditation, and thought. She spent hours every night further developing her skills and ideas to open a store. Jessica stated, “I was working my way back to sanity, one craft at a time.”
Jessica Pierce currently lives in the northern Atlanta area with her husband and children. There, she still enjoys escaping reality for a bit to fuel her creative side.
For this session we headed for my most favorite location, The Art Barn, to capture the most magical pictures. Nothing better than sweet kiddos (which our hers BTW), beautiful light, adorable animals and the perfect outfits!
