If you’re looking for a Milton photographer who can weave a bit of the city’s rural charm into your family portraits, look no further. Milton has a special place in my heart, as it does for all who find their way to this beautiful landscape where farm country meets the city.
Don’t let the miles of open space deceive you though. From your spot on the farm you’d never know you were just minutes from Hwy 400 and all that Atlanta has to offer. Other than easy access to Atlanta, Roswell, and Alpharetta, Milton promises far more than just farmland. The city has plans for a quaint downtown area, which already has some excellent dining and drinking options. Some of Milton’s residents, however, are resisting further development of the area, urging passers-by with road signs to “Keep Milton Rural!”
While it’s perhaps understandable why they would want to protect their city from being over-developed, the rate at which newcomers are buying land and building houses in Milton suggests the development won’t slow down any time soon. Some of the spots there are just perfect for urban style photography.
