We recently adopted two of the sweetest siblings, the furry kind!!! INTRODUCING Princess Pumpkin and Captain Cutie. These little kitties have been so sweet and have the absolute best temperament.
 
And to honor the newest members of our family we did a little photoshoot with them and our boys. For this session, I really just wanted to capture natural interactions with the kids and their new pets. Animals have such personality and are so much more than just a cute companion. They have so many expressions just like we do.
 
During any animal interaction, there is typically a connection and that is what I strive to capture. Pets can make such a significant impact on our lives and especially on our children. I basically grew up with one of the biggest animal lovers I’ve ever met. Our house was pretty much a zoo. We had a vast array of animals at any given time … and to mention a few: we had bunnies, hamsters, lizards, helmet crabs, fish, not to mention a salt water aquarium, parakeets, cats and dogs. I’m sure I missed a few and loved many, but I recall a particularly close relationship with our cat Topaz. We spent most of our free time together and he slept with me every night since I was 7 until I went off to college. He was more like a dog than a cat, a life companion, and was definitely the sweetest cat I’ve met to date. No offense to the current furry crew dwelling with us 🙂 You are all adorable and hilarious as well!
 
Anyway to make it all official, I present to you the documentation of our new found loves.
